Prisoners’ rights advocates from across the state gathered at the State Capitol to rally for what they call a “Formerly Incarcerated People’s Quest for Democracy.” They visited lawmakers and briefed legislative staff on issues ranging from solitary confinement of juveniles to voting rights for former inmates.
