A federal lawsuit charges Vallejo police officers methodically carried out an "extrajudicial" killing of a teenage boy as he begged them not to shoot. The suit charges 17 year old Jared Huey had his hands in the air and was yelling "Don’t Shoot!" and "No! No!" in the moments before two officers fired 10 to 20 bullets at him as he hid behind a backyard fence. Jared's father, Michael Huey, is seeking unspecified damages for excessive force, wrongful death and other charges. Huey was shot after a police chase following a convenience store robbery.
