(KPFK News - Los Angeles) LAUSD parents and staff have launched a public campaign in defense of the Breakfast in the Classroom program. The union representing food prep workers organized rallies in front of several schools this morning. They’re mobilizing after the district superintendent recently proposed cancelling the program after complaints from the teacher’s union. Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce files this report.
