Dormant Office of Immigrant Affairs Gets New Life in Los Angeles


The city of Los Angeles' Office of Immigrant Affairs is getting new life. Established eight years ago, the office remained dormant and nearly completely unfunded. With expectations of federal immigration reform in mind, the L.A. city council has voted unanimously to re-establish the office to serve the city's diverse immigrant communities. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Los Angeles.
