Two Democrats are gearing up for what could be a David versus Goliath match up in the new 40th Congressional district. The district includes East Los Angeles and surrounding communities. The first Mexican-American woman to serve in Congress, Lucille Roybal-Allard, is going up against David Sanchez, a former community college instructor and area activist. Sanchez lost to the almost 10-year congressional veteran in 2010. But as Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports, Sanchez hopes his strategy of low-funded campaigning will win over voters tired of bought-and-paid-for politicians.
