The controversy over what may be the largest anonymous political campaign contribution in California history is now in the hands of a state judge in Sacramento. Judge Shellyanne Chang heard arguments from the state’s Fair Political Practices Commission and the Arizona group Americans for Responsible Leadership over whether voters have the right to know who made the $11 million dollar donation to a campaign opposing Governor Jerry Brown’s Prop 30 tax initiative and supporting the Prop 32 measure to limit union political donations.
