Baldwin Hills Residents Dispute Fracking Study Findings

Residents of a Los Angeles suburb are disputing the results of an oil company’s study on the safety of local fracking. Baldwin Hills community members say PXP commissioned a study on its own oil extraction practices and found it conducted safe operations. But concerned neighbors and environmentalists believe the process is unsafe and can trigger earthquakes and expose residents to toxic chemicals. Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
