Domestic Workers Dance for Workers Rights

Domestic workers are making a last push for a bill to create a “Domestic Workers Bill of Rights.” That measure, Assembly Bill 889, would grant basic workers rights like overtime pay and meal breaks to house-keepers and care-givers who have historically been excluded from Federal workers protections. The measure has passed out of the legislature and is awaiting action from Governor Jerry Brown. Christopher Martinez reports from San Francisco.
