As President Barack Obama defends his economic record on the campaign trail, the Census Bureau today released some key economic data for 2011. After three years of rising poverty rates, the Census data show the national poverty rate remained unchanged, at 15 percent from 2010 to 2011. Median household income decreased 1.5 %, to $50,000, but the number of people without health insurance decreased between 2010 and 2011. Sally Schilling reports.
