The California Nurses Association is concluding a month-long health care tour across the state tonight. The free health screenings and townhall discussions are part of the Nurses Campaign to Heal America, which promotes the notion of quality healthcare for everyone. In the wake of the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act, the CNA and its National Nurses United partner group visited 19 California cities to spread the Medicare for All message. Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce visited the tour’s final stop in West Covina where he filed this report.
