Mexico’s populist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has just concluded a press conference where he says he will challenge the outcome of yesterday’s presidential election.
According to the latest official results, Lopez Obrador is trailing the P-R-I frontrunner by less than 8 percentage points.
The veteran leftist says Mexico’s national elections office received more than 1,800 reports of irregularities.
