Immigrant Advocates Sponsor Citizenship Workshops

Immigrant advocates are sponsoring a series of citizenship workshops in Los Angeles this summer.
It’s part of an effort by Latino and Asian civic groups to naturalize the estimated 8 million immigrants nationwide who currently qualify to become U.S. citizens.
Organizers say helping these residents become citizens will politically empower underrepresented communities.
Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
