A coalition of labor and community organizations held a series of tax day protests in Los Angeles today. Several hundred activists unleashed banners over freeway overpasses, carried signs and chanted: It’s Never Tax Day for the 1 Percent. Good Jobs LA says the wealthiest Americans and their corporatecounterparts have been able to dodge their tax responsibility while the average worker is asked to pay more.
