Public Employee Unions And Mayor On Collision Course Over Pensions

Public employee unions in San Jose are gearing up for a fight with the city’s mayor over his proposals for pension reform. Mayor Chuck Reed is taking the proposal to the ballot box in June. Yesterday, unions filed a formal ethics complaint accusing him of exaggerating the city’s financial problems to extract concessions from its unions. Brian Edwards-Tiekert has more.
