A federal court in New York Friday dismissed a legal action by organic farmers against the Monsanto corporation. Last June a nationwide group of 83 organic farms and businesses sought legal protection against lawsuits for patent infringement, should their crops be contaminated by Monsanto's genetically modified seed.
