Berkeley May Pull The Plug On Wells Fargo Bank

The City of Berkeley is considering ending its eight year contract with Wells Fargo Bank. City officials say the banking giant acted irresponsibly in past years and is partly to blame for the 2008 financial crisis. In May, the city is opening up competition to other banking institutions with the possibility of moving millions of dollars worth of accounts to a smaller, more fiscally responsible bank.
