L.A. Prepares To Lift Ban On Murals

Los Angeles officials are preparing to lift an 8 year ban on murals in the city.
Artists from across LA have been gathering over the last several nights to discuss the details of the new mural ordinance. The motion was introduced by two Eastside city council members. Though most muralists support the plan, they want the city to
reallocate the $34 million it spends on graffiti abatement to cover the proposed mural application fee. Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
