The American Civil Liberties Union and the San Francisco Bay Guardian newspaper have filed a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration. The suit alleges that the F.D.A. allowed the illegal importation of lethal injection drugs for use in U.S. executions. Cameron Jones reports.
