Immigrant Rights Groups Serves Los Angeles Sherrif Lee Baca with Court Summons Over Dealings With ICE

An immigrant rights coalition served Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca with a court summons this morning. The Coalition filed suit against the Sheriff’s Department in order to find out how the department enforces its ICE programs. The Department says the coalition needs to ask the Department of Homeland Security for the information. Activists say the Sheriff’s Department is handing over non-criminal undocumented immigrants to federal authorities for deportation. Ernesto Arce reports.
