Residents of a north Los Angeles community are protesting today remarks made by their mayor. The Community Action League says Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris called for the eradication of poor and homeless people in the city. The group says the mayor has embarked on an effort to eliminate Section 8 low-income housing vouchers and also wants homeless services shut down. Pacifica’s Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
