Vallejo Police Call off Threat of Arrest at Native American Occuppation of Glen Cove

Native American activists have occupied an undeveloped shellmound and burial site in Vallejo, California, for nearly one week to protest that city’s plans to turn the area into a park. When we last reported the story, the city’s parks district had threatened the activists with arrest and removal – but now they’ve called off the police. Brian Edwards-Tiekert has more.
