An Assembly committee has approved the "Trust Act" , a measure that would let counties opt out of a controversial federal program that reports undocumented immigrants to federal officials. Under the federal program, called "Secure Communities" local law enforcement sends the fingerprints of everyone arrested to federal immigration officials. Opponents say that ruins the trust between police and immigrants. Christopher Martinez reports.
