No Jail Time in Death of Pregnant Farmworker

A State Senate Committee has approved a bill that would make it easier for farmworkers to join a union. The vote came after a controversial plea bargain in the death of a young farmworker who died of heat stroke. Farmworkers and their supporters gathered at the State Capitol singing and praying outside the Governor's office to call for justice for farmworkers. Christopher Martinez filed this report.
