California Republicans gathered in Sacramento over the weekend for their statewide convention. The meeting was marked by testy fights over resolutions to censure as "traitors" any Republican lawmakers who vote to put taxes on the June ballot, and others to let the party endorse candidates in California's new "top two" primary elections.
