The Los Angeles City Council has passed a resolution endorsing state legislation to dis-incorporate the small, corruption-plagued city of Vernon. Unionized labor was split by the issue in council chambers today. Vernon workers want assurances that they would not lose their jobs. Pacifica’s Dan Fritz filed this report from Los Angeles.
