Lawmakers Scrutinize Public Worker Pensions

The debate over public workers' pensions came to a legislative committee today. A watch-dog commission is calling for cuts to benefits for state workers, saying the pension system has become a program of what it calls "wealth accumulation" for public workers. Union activists call the report part of an attack on public workers similar to the struggle over public worker unions in Wisconsin. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
