Oakland Mayor Jean Quan announced that she will bring back 10 of the 80 police officers that were laid off last summer. Oakland faces a multi-million dollar budget deficit but Quan says there’s enough money to bring back the 10 officers and reorganize resources to give more support to the Oakland police department.
