Now that California Senator Kamala Harris has dropped out of the Democratic primary race for president, the next presidential debate could well be an all-white affair. That’s not OK with Latino candidate Julian Castro and African American candidate Cory Booker. They say the Democratic party needs a diverse field to empower minority voters and, ultimately, beat Donald Trump in the general election.
