Steve Glazer's SB248 Would Hike Renters Credit

Democratic state senator Steve Glazer wants to boost California’s renters’ credit for the first time in 40 years. His Senate Bill 248 would boost the rate to account for inflation. It would also hike the credit for families with children. Supporters say it would provide quick help for renters as lawmakers work on other plans to address the housing affordability crisis.
