Some Democratic lawmakers have unveiled their plans for a “Green New Deal” to address climate change and social justice. Congressmember Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts are pushing a resolution setting out priorities for a World War II- scale mobilization over the next decade.
