Days after signing another landmark climate change law, Governor Jerry Brown is chairing a Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco. But activists from more than 800 environmental, health and social justice groups have been carrying out a series of protests at the forum. The groups, joining as the “Brown’s Last Chance Campaign,” point out that California is a major oil producing state, and they want an end to new fossil fuel development in California.
