State lawmakers continue their hearings on how to deal with the ever-growing threat of wildfires. The debate comes as Governor Jerry Brown is pushing a proposal to limit utility company liability for wildfires caused by power lines and other utility equipment. Lawmakers hope to craft a bill through a wildfire preparedness conference committee.
