State Attorney General Announces Student Debt Settlement

Students who took out private loans to attend the now-shuttered Corinthian colleges will be getting $67 million in debt relief. Under a settlement between California’s Attorney General and a private lender, debt collections will stop, remaining loan balances will be forgiven, and some past payments will be re-funded.
