Senate Dems Propose $5 Billion for Homelessness, Affordable Housing

Democratic state senators have unveiled a plan to spend $5 billion to address the state’s homelessness and affordable housing crises. They want to put that money into affordable housing construction, rent assistance, supportive services, and temporary shelter for California’s growing homeless population.
