California Republicans failed to make an endorsement for Governor at their state convention in San Diego. Some Republicans fear that could lead to a ballot with no Republican at the top of the ballot, hurting Republican turn-out and giving more momentum to a potential “blue wave” that could flip the House of Representatives to Democratic control.
