Trump's Travel Ban Argued in Virginia Federal Appeals Court

President Donald Trump’s travel ban Executive Order had its first hearing in a federal appeals court Monday, with lawyers arguing over whether it violates the first amendment by targeting Muslims. The case also raises issues about executive powers versus the powers of other branches of government, the judiciary and congress. The case also raises questions over how Trump’s past statements on a Muslim ban can be used to evaluate the order.
