Governor Jerry Brown Wednesday thanked the League of California Cities for supporting his transportation infrastructure bill, the recently passed Senate Bill 1, saying “you must be Democrats.” He held up the bill as a model for the federal government as the feds consider a national yet to be revealed infrastructure plan from President Donald Trump. Brown also dismissed claims his SB 1 deal involved illegal vote trading to win passage.
