The US Conference of Mayors kicked off a “Cities Day of Immigration Action” Tuesday. The events are aimed at showing the contributions of immigrants. The mayors are opposing the Trump administration’s moves to ramp up deportation actions, as well as other Trump plans such as threats to cut federal funding for sanctuary cities.
