California’s lawmakers are on the road gathering information to document the impacts repealing the Affordable Care Act would have on residents and the economy. The San Joaquin Valley could be especially hard hit by losses of federal funding to the state’s Medi-Cal system-for low income individuals and families. At a Joint Informational Hearing in the Fresno City Council chambers on Wednesday, members of the Assembly Budget and Health committees heard from experts and the public.
