Immigrant rights activists are calling on the State to support protections against federal deportation programs. A coalition of religious, labor, and civil rights activists marched on the state capitol in a day of action to support the proposed “California Values Act” and other legislation that would push back against the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement and deportation plans.
