Vermont senator and former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders wrapped up his election campaign appearances in California, with a rally to support Proposition 61, a measure supporters call a big step in their campaign against “big pharma” and skyrocketing prescription drug prices. It’s perhaps the most-watched health care proposition on the ballot anywhere in the country this year, and Sanders says it’s a chance to also take on the role of big money in politics.
