De Leon Calls Legislative Session Most Successful in Generations

The state legislature’s current session has been a success and a model for the rest of the nation. That’s according to the leader of the Senate. Democratic Senator Kevin de Leon of Los Angeles talked with reporters about legislative accomplishments such as hiking the minimum wage. He also shared his personal concerns about a November ballot initiative that would legalize recreational marijuana. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
