Endangered Salmon Draw Water Officials Attention

State water officials are looking at ways to help protect California’s endangered winter-run Chinook salmon. Populations of the threatened species have plummeted in recent years, victims of drought, global warming, and perhaps water policies that favor agriculture over environmental needs.
