Dallas Sniper Who Killed 5 Police Identified

In Dallas Texas, 5 police officers were shot dead after a lone gunman opened fire on police as a peaceful demonstration against police brutality dispersed. Seven other officers and two civilians were wounded. Protesters gathered in response to the police killings of Alton Stirling in Lousianna and Philando Castilo in Minnesota, which has sparked massive demonstrations across the country. The Dallas gunman was identified as Micah Johnson, 25, a former Army Reservist who told offers he wanted to kill white people, especially police officers, amid an hours long stand off before he was killed by police using a robot bomb.
