Activists came together at the CA Commission on Judicial Performance today to deliver over a million signatures calling for the removal of Judge Aaron Persky from the bench after his decision to order only 6 months jail time for Brock turner who was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman on Stanford University's campus. The case sparked nationwide outrage after the survivor’s court statement went viral. Celebrities and politicians read aloud the survivor's letter on television and spoke out in support of the victim including Vice President Joe Biden who praised the bystanders who caught the perpetrator and called the victim a "warrior".
