Standing on Sproul Plaza's Free Speech Zone, on the UC Berkeley campus Friday afternoon, a white rights group demonstrated to claim the space and to get students to hear their ideas about race. The demonstration was organized by the National Policy Institute, identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a radical white supremacist group. Founder Richard Spencer attended the demonstration.
