Grim Sleeper Is Convicted, But 200 Women in Los Angeles Still Missing

After more than thirty years of violence, and six years of delayed court dates, Lonnie Franklin Jr. has been convicted guilty for the murder of ten women in south Los Angeles. Known as the Grim Sleeper, due to the thirteen year gap between his killing sprees, Franklin used his job as an LAPD garage attendant and garbage truck driver to stay hidden in plain sight. His victims ranged in age from 15 to 35 years old.
