Paid Family Leave Expansion Signed Into Law

Governor Jerry Brown has signed a measure to expand California’s paid family leave law. The new bill will increase the wage replacement pay for workers who take time off to care for a new child or a sick family member. Supporters say the new law builds on the 2002 law that made California the first state in the nation to establish a paid family leave program. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
