What Would a 15$ Minimum do to California?

Legislation to increase the state minimum wage to 15$ an hour passed out of the house appropriations committee today. Ken Jacobs and Michael Reich, professors at UC Berkeley shared findings from their study with the committee demonstrating that the proposed 50 percent increase over 7 years would have little impact on the over all health of the economy, while helping ease the economic troubles of many low wage workers.
