Opponents of a recently-signed measure to tighten childhood vaccination requirements have turned in signatures for a ballot referendum to block the measure. It’s not clear how many valid signatures were turned in, leaving a possibility the newly-enacted law will go into effect by the next school year. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
